BAMA is up there.

Check out what the article says about Florida. BAMA fans have been saying this for years.

Here's the only problem with all that winning. While Florida's longtime fans relish every win with equal gusto, the ones who think football was invented in 1990 when Steve Spurrier came back to his alma mater have developed unrealistic expectations.

I'd say that it's a pretty fair article. The only thing I would quarrel with is having LSU on the list at all. LSU's success is a recent phenomenon made possible by none other you-know-who. When compared to all of the other teams named on this list, LSU has no long standing reputation as a football power -- at least not in my mind.

This recruiting class notwithstanding, Miles has done a more than adequate job steering the ship that Nick built, but I honestly don't see him maintaining the momentum he'll need to compete in the SEC year after year.

I agree Reger. LSU doesn't have a whole lot of tradition going for it other than its most recent years with CNS and the Mad Hatter. The article was indeed fair and it hit the "nail on the head" when it came to FLA. They are indeed the most delusional. I bet you could ask them when they began football and they would probably say 1990.

Another perk of coaching the Crimson Tide? Local elementary school teachers will ask their students to write letters to you instead of the president, Santa Claus, God or their parents.

That was funny. But true.

Well, not exactly true. The students asked the teacher to write Coach Saban...
