The day before Alabama cornerback Tony Brown was sent home from Dallas for violating team rules he said he hoped to improve his "emotional consistency" in 2016.

At the team's media day Tuesday morning, he talked about his hopes for the New Year:

"Coach Saban talked to be about a blind spot – the blind spot is what you think you're doing, as opposed to what someone else sees you doing... That's something I want to get better at, working on my emotional consistency and not showing people that I'm up and down, showing them an even keel."

He said sometimes as he was growing up people would say he had issues with anger, but he always thought the problem was with others not himself.

"As you get older, you've got to understand perspectives and perceptions of other people looking at you, and it's hard to understand someone else's perception of you," Brown said Tuesday.

The school sent a one-sentence email Wednesday afternoon saying an internal decision had been made to send him home. No further details have been released.

Brown is a key reserve player who came to Alabama in 2014 as a five-star recruit. He primarily played on special teams this year while serving as Minkah Fitzpatrick's backup at the "Star position."

Bus, years ago I had to take a bus from Houston Tx, to Dothan, Al. It was like a "Who's Who of American Psycho's. " It would be part of the Punishment for T Brown.

My dad had to take a bus a few times a cpl years ago because of switching companies and they were too cheap to fly him instead. He said that there was some scary, freaky, smelly ppl on that bus.

Look on the bright side @rueben, when you got off at the Greyhound there in Dothan, you were only a couple of blocks away from Herman n Ann's. You could have gone and shot a few games of pool or played a little snooker.

Hahahaa! no.
I was actually coming home ( from the ship yards) to attend my grandmother's funeral. To make matters worse, itwas a round trip. We stopped in every hole-the-wall and street sign along the way. ( not the Alabama ,Mississippi, Louisiana, or east Tejas had many hole in the wall type stops). Herman and Ann's is re-opened,under new ownership. And lest just say I have had some interesting dealings with them on the professional level.
