@TerryP why haven't you done it? To me if you have thought about it then you should go ahead and do it. Jockey and college football player the same thing?
I use to think it these guys were getting a great education pay for, then no these college students shouldn't get paid for playing the game. But, right now I not so sure about it now.
Because he has had somethings in the past that were worth reading...when he was tweeting his own stuff out. As a sideline commentator...that's where he's dropping the ball.
Off season is the biggest difference I see. UGA finds out in the middle of the season, A&M finds out in the summer and has time to "deal" with it without having it influence games.

I can't disagreeāstupid on Gurley's part.
I can't help but draw analogies. In some states it's illegal to possessābut if you have it you don't put it out there for people to know.
Matt, do you recall why they settled on four games for AJ Green?
That shouldn't matter if it wrong it wrong. It still against the NCAA rules isn't it? It because the school not getting any of the money he got? Does the NCAA get any profit form the schools selling items?
NCAA makes a ton of money off TV contracts and licensing, due to the athletes. And like the NFL, they are considered a non-profit. Still can't believe nobody questions this more these days.

You asked what the difference is and that's the only difference known, now. For all we know, when UGA finishes its investigation they may find reason to decide a half of a game suspension would suffice. But, since we're in the middle of the season they are not afforded the same time as A&M and it may result in a game.
Any time an item is sold in the "retail market" the NCAA gets a cut. (see CLC)
This is due to him receiving "extra benefits." It's pure and simple on that front.
Agreed. It's interesting how the reputation has changed since their launch. It's gone from "it's a TMZ report" to "TMZ reports." (if that makes sense.)
