It does appear that they honestly feel like this is the year they can beat bama. That is much different from previous years. In my view this is going to come down to which defense plays best and is able to get a few stops or turnovers.

As I recall last year it was "we have the defense to stop Bama" right up until the ejection and subsequent billboard campaign. They were so caught up in their protest and complaints we didn't see a lot of football talk the two weeks leading up to the game.
