Quarterback Jawon Pass (Columbus, Ga./Carver) still plans to announce his college choice July 16.

The ceremony has been set for 4 p.m. at Carver High School's auditorium, per his high school coach Joseph Kegler.

His teammates, family, coaches and media will be in attendance.

The Crystal Ball reads 39-percent for Alabama, 33-percent for Louisville, 18-percent for Auburn, six-percent for North Carolina and three-percent foggy.

Pass visited Auburn twice, Alabama, Louisville, North Carolina and Virginia Tech in the past month.

The U.S. Army All-American still plans to return to Alabama July 14-15 after returning from The Opening in Oregon July 4-10.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 2 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 7 prospect in Georgia in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com.

FWIW, it's being reported Pass has a visit set for UA on the 14th and 15th with his announcement set for the following afternoon.

I tend to watch the visits in the summer as a good indicator where the staff is standing with a player. Considering we've got one QB committed, and showing interest in others considering transferring, it's not out of the question to see two QB's in the 2016 class.
