Figured we'd be Top 10,

Difference may be Primo leaving.
Pre-season rankings and pre-season brackets shifted a bit in September when Nimari hurt his knee.

Over the last few weeks the brackets have 'self-corrected,' if you will, when reports started coming out of practices. Now that there's been a few people watching the team Bama's projected, at the lowest, a #2 seed for the the tourney regionals, 5th overall.

Preseason projections are just that but it sure is nice that people's views of Bama basketball has changed and changed significantly in a short time. Our AD needs to keep Oats happy but it will be a challenge for him to keep some of the more traditional basketball schools at bay if/when they need a new coach. He will need to earn his pay.

What's noteworthy about that thought is he took the Bama job because it wasn't one of the traditional basketball schools; "it made for a better work environment." (sic) That was one of the main things Mark Few and Tom Izzo pointed out about taking the job in Tuscaloosa.

Hope that is enough going forward. If he excels he will get opportunities. Ego's are a tricky thing.
