Nice article here on the BAMA defense and how, historically the program has reached lofty status when relying on a tenacious defense and mediocre offense. Can the Tide do it this year?

I don't think that it will happen this year, but next year, there ain't no excuses.

Strong defense, no mistakes on offense and a sound kicking game. That will get you in the hunt for an NC year in and year out.

The only thing about this year's team that worries me is offensive line play and depth. If this line can continue to improve through fall camp like it has been and have a little luck when it comes to players not getting injured...then we can be as good or better as last year.
