šŸˆ Three-star Kentucky CB, Monrell Custis, commit flips, pledges to Alabama

As Alabama prepares for a huge recruiting weekend, it picked up a commitment. Cornerback Montrell Custis decommitted from Kentucky and pledged to the Crimson Tide, 247Sports.com reported Monday evening. The Hampton, Ga., defensive back reportedly attended Alabama's scrimmage on an unofficial visit last weekend.

Custis is a 3-star cornerback, according to the 247Sports.com composite of recruiting services, and the No. 58 player at his position. He stands 6-feet, 175 pounds.

Other scholarship offers included Clemson and East Carolina, according to Rivals.com. Auburn and Georgia Tech also had offers, 247Sports reported.

4-star DB de-commits from Kentucky, commits to Alabama

Alabama has added another defensive back commitment for the 2015 recruiting class.

Montrell Custis, a cornerback from Lovejoy High School in Hampton, GA, is ranked as a 4-star player by 24-7 Sports.com.

He had originally committed to Kentucky, but now has decided he wants to play in Tuscaloosa instead.

Despite also being offered by Auburn, Custis committed to Kentucky on November 10th. On February 25th Alabama offered the player, who then visited the Crimson Tide’s facilities at their Junior Day on March 1st, and visited the school on April 12th. He de-committed from Kentucky on April 14th.

On February 19th Custis told Rivals that he was still solid. Well, not anymore.
