I've heard a lot of negative comments about Pruitt, so I was a bit surprised how down to earth he seemed during his press conference, especially how emotional he got referencing Mal Moore (at the 4:00 mark).
That's the thing. People post remarks, falsely representing as the supposed truth, about all kind of situations of which they know about 0-13% of the facts.
so I was a bit surprised how down to earth he seemed during his press conference, especially how emotional he got referencing Mal Moore (at the 4:00 mark).
I wasn't shocked about him reflecting on Coach Moore. Remember his roots, and who he came up under. He's a Stallings boy, one that's seen Moore's progression pretty closely over the last 15 years.
The one thing that jumped out to me is how he's mastered "coach speak." There are very few questions he answers, even with his lengthy answers.
My opinion of him as a person hasn't changed. My opinion of him as a evaluator has changed.
As compared to what he was in 2012, most definitely for the better. I believe he's improved as a recruiter as well. The time spent with Richt was a valuable learning experience in my mind.
