šŸˆ (This Year Should Be) The Best Kicking Year in Alabama History

Therein is the point being made here.

If you have your quarterback as your holder who is holding when your place kicker is practicing? It's not your quarterback, he's working with his line, receivers, backs, and the offensive staff.

While they do spend limited time together it's been my opinion if it was a dedicated position (like Bolden has been suggested) they'd be working with the same guy everyday.

Familiarity breeds contempt is a popular cliche ... familiarity also breeds consistency.

right.... tua was backup qb...maybe starter...don’t remember...

And practice is great....to work on mechanics...
But ..... kicker has to have theone he likes and feels comfortable with..

I watch these kickers warm up....mechanical sound...in pregame...at half...
Drilling em left and right.... and clank them in games... ..

How many times have the holders for OSU, OU, Clemson, UGA, LSU, etc. messed up field goals or PATs the last 5 years? Do they all use their QBs? I’m just curious, I don’t know the stats on it. But I am confident they haven’t missed as many PATs and likely not many more field goals than we have.
