Just as this year's Alabama team is grouped with the past NC contenders and winners, ND gets lumped into the disaster that showed up in 2012. CNS has said it many times, this year is a different team.

Notre Dame gets humiliated again on the national stage. Where are their difference makers? They weren't obviously the 3rd best team in the country but who really knows until they kick this stuff off. Should have joined the B1G years ago. They remind me so much of Michigan and Michigan State with their talent and style.

I feel like Notre Dame actually had a solid gameplan going in. If not for the two touchdowns really quick in the second quarter leading into halftime I think it's a closer game throughout. That being said, I agree that Notre Dame was/is not a Top 4 team. Georgia most likely drills Clemson yesterday. Lawrence threw the ball well, but 30 points isn't exactly dominating, but the defense did their job with some help from a Notre Dame offense that couldn't hold on to the ball.

If we can utilize the slants we killed Oklahoma with and then sprinkle in some runs we can beat Clemson like we did Oklahoma. I also feel we did not go deep near as much as we normally do last night. Was that the gameplan, keep it short, eat up clock? Or did we simply take what they gave us in hopes of breaking one?

New ND team, same results. People (ND and their fans) will say that you can't hold one team accountable for another team, but at this point, it is a pattern that the committee needs to recognize and remember for the next time ND thinks they should be given a shot at the playoffs.

Georgia vs Clemson would have been so much better. That being said, I'm still glad the fighting Kirby's got robbed. They have to be so mad today. Lol. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

How does this happen? Georgia moves over Oklahoma after losing 2 games to sneak into the playoffs? Clemson moves up to #1 after beating a 7-5 Pitt thus jumping Alabama?

1 - Alabama
2 - Clemson
3 - ??
4 - Oklahoma

While some of you think that Georgia was more deserving, remember that they lost 2 games. You cannot reward Georgia for losing the SECCG with a rematch with Alabama in the semifinals nor can you reward them with moving them up to #3 over Oklahoma.

This is not logical.

Putting a 2 loss UGA in over undefeated ND (and UCF if they actually manage to beat LSU) would ensure that they expand playoffs in a season or two. Say what you will about their strength of schedule or whatever, but going undefeated should count for something at some point, and that point is probably when you start trying to ignore them in favor of 2 loss teams.
