I've referred to KenPom rankings a lot over the years. One of the things he tracks nightly—he's done it for awhile now—is how many teams are left unbeaten on the season.
As of last night it's 88 out of 351.
Of the 88, nine are from the SEC.
Last night Vandy took an 'L,' at home, against Virginia Commonwealth. They scored a total of 39 points in their 11 point loss: 48-37.
What's a better comparison? Is that a high school basketball score or one that looks like football?
(In all fairness VCU is included in two of the 45 brackets that have been released.)
