With the lone exception of the TAMU game, it seems as if the offense and the defense either can't or won't play effectively for sustained periods in the same game. One unit usually ends up bailing out the other. I'll take Bama wins however they need to come.

Twasn't pretty, no doubt. Then there's context as well. IE: Marshall, like him or not, played a HELL of a game yesterday. I have a hard time criticizing performance when the opposition is doing a damn good job—and they were.

Just as another thought here...

Marshall completed almost 63% of his passes yesterday. Blake was right at 75%.

As I recall and as a FWIW, the second INT Blake threw was in the last minute of the second quarter. That possession ended as time ran out for the half.

I still say for whatever reason CGM has CNS/CKS defenses figured out. I used to think it was speed, but I'm beginning to believe Alabama's defenses are so complex and well executed they cannot help but get caught up in the unconventional shifts and movements - perhaps overthinking and over strategizing something that at it's core is so simple (maybe why other teams have had more success defensively against them). Heck I don't know, I could be wrong and it definitely wouldn't be the first time.

@BamaFisher I agree with you about our defense. Most of the time, I think we try to do too much instead of just line up and play.

I will agree with psychojoe here. OK! I will agree with all of you on this one. Why it hard to see it on the radio. Trying hard to get that fiest one off my mind right now. Maybe he was trying to restart his heart each time. Sucking leomen that what the picture look like.
