Tua is a better QUARTERBACK than Jalen. I’m having a hard time seeing where there’s any debate. Hurts has been a great team player and along the way helped win a lot of games but he has been an athlete playing the quarterback position. There will be ups and downs with Tua but I don’t believe, if the decision is made on ability and not loyalty, there will be much of a competition.

With Tua at QB, UGA had to back the defense up off the line. I complained about this for half of the season--teams being able to stack up to stop the run and short pass without respecting the long ball. I think our O will be more than a TD better in every competitive game with Tua running the show. If we are 8 points better on O each game, Tua could throw a pick six ever game and us still be better.

Additionally, Tua puts a kind of pressure on a D that we just haven't been applying. After less than 1 half of defending a Tua ran offense, the UGA D was gassed. Get ready for an opponent morale destroying offense next year. Combine that with another Alabama D that will be pretty good, and the potential is down right scary.
