šŸˆ The qb rotation i something I'm finding ridiculous. It will cost a game this year and the wrong loss could be bad news.

I hate the idea of the staff having to prepare two guys for one game each week. We've got one quarterback and don't need that "if you're playing two you ain't got one" conversation.

the change has killed momentum in the first two games.

Yet we have beaten our opponents by an average of 44 points a game. JMHO but I don't think you will continue to see this type of rotation the rest of the way. Getting into SEC play and CNS will likely want to keep the foot on the gas for an extended amount of time to where Jalen could possibly be limited to 2 maybe 3 series tops. Nothing to go on that makes me believe that, just a gut feeling.

According to how effective it continues......
I don’t think the adage....."if you got 2 you aint got one" is always true.....
@jdpas29 The using 2 doesn’t always work but can in this circumstances....
Cause both have been starters and both winners...in big time games.. agreeing with you..
What really doesn’t work well...is getting into big time games with one and having only one QB and he goes down and not having a replacement with enough time and not ready...

It all comes down to execution and the QB is the guy that makes it happen. If the defense sends all the guys then the slants are open and if the pass is thrown and caught then they might just run all the way to CottonDale. The Risk/Reward defense is just what it means. I like our chances with #13.

Won't be an issue after TAMU anyway #NewRedshirtRules

;);)

Coach Bryant would often put the second offense in throughout the game. But when it was against a toughie and we weren't getting that many touches anyway in the wishbone the starters often didn't come out. I think the rhyme and reason will work itself out as it did with Tua's opportunities last season.

Speaking of exhibition, how long did the McCarron/Sims dual last? I'm not 100% sure, but I think it went about 4 games or so. All of us armchair QB's were saying it was AJ by game 2 as well, if memory serves me correctly. Either way, 5 MNC's and 8 million dollars a year, I think CNS knows what to do. I'll hang up and listen.

I believe Penn State(away) was the 2nd game and AJ was the man during and after that game.

I have no problem with trying to work in as many players as possible in the first couple of game. This year, we have not had the hardest opening two games. UL is down and Ark. St. was no match for Bama.

Personally, I think CNS and staff will use Tua the vast majority of the time from here on out unless he has a major breakdown. IMO, you play the starters until half, keeping the throttle open and then start working in others after half but only with a big lead.

CNS may also use Jalen as much as possible to make it difficult for opponents to prepare for Alabama. Does anybody know if Jalen will redshirt or not? He keeps playing. I guess Ole Miss and Texas A&M will need to prepare for him. If he doesn't play during those games, he could still play in two future games. As an opponent, what do you do?

Nonsense like this is absolute irrefutable proof that there are certain "fans" that will never ever be happy. The offense has scored over 100 points in two games and you're whining that it will "cost" Alabama a game. You have absolutely zero evidence to support that idea yet you are convinced. I have no idea why someone like you hasn't won a bunch of national championships considering you know more than one that has.
