Well I was just wondering if you would wish him a win or two. Now that he isn't coaching the XXXX.
(I will not use any team names that Bama play this year.)

I have a feeling that whether we like it or not, Wingnut will be a consistent 8-4 or 9-3 kind of coach and ay Tech that's probably good enough to keep him in xxx ear muffs and pine boxes for quite a while. Who knows, in a couple of seasons he may even get overlooked by the BCS again.

He is a good coach and he will consistently win 8-10 games each year. I think he got a little burned out there at the Barn and he rested on his 04 season. He has the fire back.

It's pretty dry around Lubbock. Not much duck hunting available in that area. This will free up Tubbs to concentrate on recruiting and other football related matters.

I hope he does well. I'm interested if he'll change his coaching style towards the spread or make the defenses in the league adjust to his style.

I've heard Tubby is a pretty nice fellow if you can overlook the fact he coached the barn, so I won't root against him. I'm too busy rooting against Kiffin, Coach Rod, Dooley, and Dodge this season.

Considering Tech's recent reputation for its high-powered passing attack. I'm wondering how long Tech fans will stand for watching Wingnut's painfully boring offense. You know the one, where the best quarterback on the field is actually the tailback.

It's weird, because up until he was fired from the barn 2 seasons ago, I could not stand his @ss. Now, seeing him in Red Raiders colors, I don't dislike him as much as previously. I will only pull against him if he's playing us, and would actually pull for him ONLY if he plays against the barn. The rest of the time, I'll be just kind of indifferent.

I hope that some day in the future we get a chance to play against Tubby at Tech, whether it be a regular season game or a bowl game.
