Don’t forget Greg Robinson’s grandmother accused Auburn of taking him to Auburn without the families knowledge.  She also called Trooper Taylor a liar.  Robinson’s high school coach also had some real concerns about the sudden interest that Trovan Reed (2010 reruit) and Greg Robinson had in Auburn.

I found Greg Robinson's grandmother's comments rather amusing:

she told FOXSports.com last month that she was unhappy with Auburn’s recruitment of her grandson and Nelson having taken him to Auburn on unofficial visits. Robinson also hoped her grandson would choose another school.
She said Auburn's coaches "weren't very intelligent" and was especially critical of [Trooper] Taylor, who she says "got a lot of lies in there when he was talking."

This may turn into something bigger than just Cam Newton issues.

Just that a couple had said NYT reporters would go to auburn and Montgomery to do a little digging. That happened. Also said the NCAA would make a visit to Thibodaux. That happened as well. I first learned of the HBO sports special from posters there before it was common knowledge.

You are generally gracious on this board, but you might want to climb inside the wagons that are circling. Within a few months it is going to get REALLY ugly for AU. I mean scorched earth ugly.

I say this in all seriousness...in 2000 Tommy Tuberville showed recruits a fake letter from the NCAA stating that Auburn should find a replacement for Alabama in case we got the death penalty. If 1/10th what I have heard about Auburn (just in the past few days) is true, Alabama and the rest of the SEC will get a letter about Auburn that isn't fake.

I am not talking about Blue Tuna or any Internet rumor. I am talking about word from people I know who are in the know. When Alabama was in trouble in 2000, Auburn fans turned "where there's smoke, there's fire!" into a battle cry. Friend, there is so much smoke on the plains right now that you can't see the toilet paper in the dying oak tree.

Believe it or don't believe it, I don't care...but I would be surprised if this ends up being less than a "30 scholarship deduction - 20+ initial qualifier loss - 5 year probation - 2 year bowl ban - 1 year TV ban" level of hammering...if Auburn is lucky.

If Auburn isn't lucky, there is always Troy University. I am sure they will take you as a fan...or you can convert to Crimson.

Take it, leave it, whatever...but I say this as a friend...stop ignorantly playing the part of Baghdad Bob. You are going to have egg all over your face if you don't.

I am almost as certain of this information as I was that Saban was going to be hired, when I posted on here to ignore the reports about Rich Rod. Some people laughed at me...some people flamed me...we know what happened.

If 1/10th is true, Auburn is toast. If half is true - Auburn will be lucky to make it out of this alive.

Per SbB, the McClover stuff may not be either. Everyone associated with Stanley has said it isn't true. SbB is now saying McClover is wavering and HBO may pull it. McClover hinted on Twitter that it may all be crap. LOVE media reports these days!

The thing about the Internet is you never know who is on the other side of the keyboard. I know many people as well and as far as I know it, you're off base. The whole "Auburn losing accreditation" talk makes for great Internet speak but the chances of any school of Auburns size, financial standing, academic track record, etc losing SACS is slim at best. Keep holding your breath about the death penalty. The chances of that happening to a major school in this day and age are almost nill.

The information I have comes from the same multiple peope who told me within days of Shula's firing that Saban was going to be hired. If this info is wrong, it will be the first time I have ever gotten bad info from these people.
