With that said, I'll pistol whip the first person I actually hear using the phrase "Lane Train".

I wonder if there was such hand wringing and teeth gnashing in the early 70's when John Forney and Doug Layton dubbed Bama's D "the redwood forest" ? Maybe Forney, Layton, John Mitchell, John Croyle, Skip Kubeilus, and Mike Raines, etc., all belonged in west Georgia ?

Those were all great names coined because of outstanding TEAM play. I don't hate the hire of Lane Kiffin, but let's see if the guy can do something before we start giving out individual merits. And don't take it personal when some of us don't feel the need to come up with a catch phrase for our offensive coaching position, like other schools.
