If anyone else has been following this story of events like I have, I think this above all else is showing the dangers and the pressures of the recruitment process. I mean, reading the ESPN article it's like he has become depressed b/c of this situation! (The HS coach talked about him just not being himself recently, not happy) Recruitment from a players side must be more brutal than I have ever imagined! With parents, HS coaches, college coaches, family relations, your future, and a multitude of other factors, football recruitment is brutal!

Are you kidding? What part of the story do I not know, you have no clue how much of the story any of us know...

Based on your recent posts? You don't know any of it.

Sorry, you might not like the idea...while I'm behind a keyboard the chances of me knowing more about this situation than most do is extremely high.

Find me wrong in the past on notes like this...it's a challenge.

The pressure is high for any of these kids. Hoos, take the advice being handed out and listen to Terry and Porter and the other mods. They know what they are talking about and have alot more insight to things. Unless you are sitting next to CKs mom and dad, leave it alone. The hole that you are digging is getting deep.

I'm an egotistical maniac. There's no mistake about that.

This is a tree you don't want to bark up...been pruned, shaped, and fertilized for years on things at the Capstone.

You may not like what you read, or what's disagreed with, but at the same time...we've established our reputation for providing news on Bama that is factually correct.

Have you?

Gotta agree with uagrad. I never question a word Terry and some of the other mods have to say when it comes to knowing what's really going on. Never once have they been flat out wrong. Now, you might think I'm just kissing ass (maybe a tad) but this is seriously the reason I started coming here since right around Saban was hired.

Getting back to CK for a second, this was taken from ESPN.com article. Quote was from the HC there at Dematha.

"I looked at the footage and I noticed he was very uncomfortable," McGregor said. "I understand that this was ESPN and the cameras and in front of a lot of people. But there was something else, because he never smiled or looked happy. I just didn't see any joy in his face. Where was the big smile of his?"

Do any of you think that he knew immediately that the wrong school came out like I did?

I'll bite on that comment above, saying never been wrong...thats a stretch ;)

I won't go digging, but it's certainly out there for anyone who wants to dig. Call me slow and lazy.

True. But, as in CK, I didn't know the background until _________ came out.

It goes back to the ego/ass comment...we don't post things we don't know.

And, if I may add...I get tired—quickly—of people trying to draw attn. to themselves. I see if far too often.

insiders that are so far inside that they can't even tell you how far inside they are.. now that's what i am talking about!

FWIW.. there are other forums on this board.. i think sometimes a few clues are scattered around so we can connect the dots.. or i might just be delusional.. who knows

Wow this is so incredibly stupid. You're telling me that even with the following evidence: his coach has commented on his mood swing, the countless number of testimonials about the over-the-top style of recruiting on 18 year olds nowadays, and the fact that he committed then never signed the LOI-- I still can't make a judgment call saying that the recruiting process as a whole for a HS athlete is emotionally taxing? Respond to this Terry.
