Someone told me the other day that we are in "unchartered territory". It's not unchartered territory, it's just territory we haven't been in for a LONG time. You'd have to go back 18 years to find the last time there was a coach on the sidelines at Bama not named Saban. We changed coaches quite often in the span from the end of the Bryant era to the beginning of the Saban era. So a new man in charge never felt strange back then. Now, it's an unfamiliar feeling. But, exciting, nevertheless. This Saturday night, for the first time since the 2006 Independence Bowl, someone else will be leading the charge. But, unlike coaches in the past, Saban left us in pretty damn good shape! RTR!!
