🏈 The Jalen saga continues..

Are athletes just in such fine tuned shape these days that it makes them fragile beings? I just do not ever recall so many broken feet in my life than I've seen in college and NFL ball the last number of years. And broken feet that cost a guy an entire year, like Julio.

If he were to redshirt this season (he could still play in four games) he would graduate in December and then could transfer anywhere else he wants, play immediately and have two years of eligibility.

If this is the truth, then Jalen has pretty much given up on this season. So who are these players unhappy with their playing time? Let's suppose Jalen is one of them. Do we want the player who doesn't want to be here in the same locker room all season? What would your peers think about you? All these guys talk about is being all in, how would one of our supposed leaders, who's not all in, go over as the season progresses? To be frank, I've never even heard of a situation like this.

I am going to have to call Dr Waldrop and scold him. He tried to fix my wife's hammer toe. I told him he was 50-50. He fixed Eddie Lacy so he could run in the NFL yet my wife can't even run the vacuum cleaner. I believe she is the only person that doesn't have a 20/40 picture hanging in the halls and exam rooms at the Andrews Institute in The Ham.

There was a time players came to the U of A to play for a winner...a chance at a NC. I believe they still are drawn by that but they also look to get to the NFL and Playing Time is as much if no more important than the NC and winning. Me 1st and if it works out for the rest then fine.

Bob Dylan ...The times They are A-changing...........

Major Malcolm Powers.....This is the new Marine Corps. The new breed. Characters like you are an anachronism. You should be sealed in a case that reads break glass only in the event of war. Got no tolerance for you old timers who think that you know it better and can have it all your own way. Understand?

He has three more games he is able to play in and still be able to red shirt . I think I read he had 18 hours to graduate so he probably won’t transfer till then . Don’t look to see him tomorrow. I think If he does play it will be in the important (or challenging ) games only ...

I really wish he would stay and play some different positions in addition to being the backup qb.

He’s such a great athlete and player. I don’t think NFL qb is going to workout for him though. It’s kind of a Tebow situation. Sucks.

So where you guys think Jalen ends up? FAU with Kiffen or Auburn with Malzahn? Him and Charles Barkley are buddies now.

Houston or New-Braska would be good for him. I don't see him hanging around the SEC ..he might change schools but he will be taking his passing skills/decisions with him and the rest of the SEC pretty much understand both.....can you feel me.

And if he wants to go....why not get Mac ready.....
Get him some PT.....he is not a bad looking QB...
Jalen sure looked unhappy last week....
What a sad story.....for all....
If rumors are true....hopefully they are not...

We will better understand the deal starting today. If #2 doesn't take a snap in this game then the rumors are true that the Hurts family and Nick hav a deal where is #2 will not play unless #13 is injured to the point he can't play.

So where you guys think Jalen ends up?
People's shit list.

Indeed if he goes to an SEC school like the BARN.

I still really like Hurts. I think he is a great kid and tremendous athlete. If/when he leaves he will help some team win a lot of games. Hard to accept the 2nd string job when you have been the man. Competitive nature and ego/pride come into play. It also feels like the parents have meddled. Can't imagine Saban being ok with that.

JMO but I believe Nick is bring way more careful with this situation with recruiting in mind. He is doing his best to present a positive handling so the other teams will not beat him over the head when he comes to recruits. If not for that situation I wouldn't be surprised if he had no problem with #2 leaving the team today.
