šŸˆ The Jalen saga continues..

What if they use him all year .... would that be enough for the pros to take him in the draft? I believe he will graduate in December and then maybe try to go pro... if not then he will transfer and use his las5 year before he goes pro. Jalen is all in on this season. No redshirt here. Saban is a witch doctor to be able to pull this off. I’m sure Saban told him....ā€ show a good attitude .... ball out... use this year to improve .....and if you get enough interest from nfl...go proā€

He could def go pro! I'm sure Alabama has some type of job fair for winter graduates...

I love Jalen and what he has done for BAMA , but if he is lucky enough to be drafted it won’t be as a QB .

Look at Terrell Pryor , that is his best case scenario.

Terrell Pryor was drafted as a QB... bad example.

No the example is he needs to learn the wide receiver position because Terrell was also a running QB with mediocre accuracy... who if not for his speed would not be in the league.

Pryor played four years in the league as a QB (11 games as a starter). Pretty solid for a "running QB with mediocre accuracy."

So 11 games and about 55% completions with 7td’s and 11 ints and a 69 rating as a passer is solid ? No , maybe for you or I but not in the NFL .... That’s why he is a receiver

He was also playing for one of the worst teams in the league at the time... I would say a guy that you claim was mediocre at best getting to play four years at a position that he wasn't supposedly good at is solid regardless. It was 9 TDs and 12 picks by the way. He switched positions to extend the life of his career (which has been very hit and miss anyway), which another mediocre running QB refused to do and instead went to play baseball. My point was just because you think Jalen is "mediocre" (sure didnt look medicore yesterday but whatever) doesn't mean he won't at least get a shot in the league at QB. Maybe he moves to another position at some point but he could very well still get a shot. If Tim Tebow can start in the NFL I dont count anyone out

Tim was not a NFL QB either , a great college QB just like Pryor was but in the NFL the consistency just wasn’t there ... at Florida and Ohio state they out talented people just like BAMA with Jalen . But all the players in the NFL are studs ... I’m not trying to diss the guy it’s just to have a career he had to move positions.. no team wanted him or Tim as a starter . Jalen can stay a QB if he wants but I’ll bet a dollar to a dime he won’t be drafted as a QB ... Look at what BAMA looks like with a QB that is a passer that can run ... night and day ...

So where you guys think Jalen ends up?
People's shit list.

Indeed if he goes to an SEC school like the BARN.

I still really like Hurts. I think he is a great kid and tremendous athlete. If/when he leaves he will help some team win a lot of games. Hard to accept the 2nd string job when you have been the man. Competitive nature and ego/pride come into play. It also feels like the parents have meddled. Can't imagine Saban being ok with that.

JMO but I believe Nick is bring way more careful with this situation with recruiting in mind. He is doing his best to present a positive handling so the other teams will not beat him over the head when he comes to recruits. If not for that situation I wouldn't be surprised if he had no problem with #2 leaving the team today.

Be a positive thing on recruiting trail i would think...you perform...you play....
Then again...i am not a 18 year old..5*....except to ms50+

Well...if remember right.....Tebow also started and won a playoff game.....a lot of hot shot QBs coming out of college cant say that........ a lot happened to being his commitments to life...and liberal idiot team fan base...and
The style of QB doesnt last long anyway vs those visious hitting LB and DBs...

where Is tebow now ? Is he a starter or even a backup ? Heck , even AJ is still in the league and he lost a playoff game but he has accuracy .. so the winning of a single playoff game is not the bar set to be a starting QB ....

Not in this lifetime as a QB IMO.

Certainly not the bar.....but he was Good enough .....and someone was was saying if he could start ( and on top of that he won a playoff game) anyone could....apparently he could and a bunch of "anyones" could not... just a dumb statement ...TT now.... wacking at the little white ball....hope he makes it to the show one day....

Did you really just blame Tebow not playing anymore on liberals? That is a new low right there. Tim Tebow is not playing in the NFL right now because he simply couldn't fix his technique, magically create a stronger arm and refused to change positions. Blaming "liberals" is just silly, especially the Bronco fan base. They loved him. John Elway loved him as a person but knew things were going to go down hill. Go watch tape of any team the Broncos played twice that year. In those first games Tebow would suck for 3 1/2 quarters. The defense would keep them in it and then when the other team went to prevent defense Tebow started to make things happen. Part of it, finishing, was def. Tebow's heart, but when they would play the next time (Patriots, Chiefs, etc.) they would just come at him relentlessly the entire game and he was atrocious in all those games.

It wasn't "liberals" that got him cut from the Jets, either nor was it "liberals" that him cut from the Patriots when he was throwing picks against third string defenders in the pre-season. He was flat out a bad NFL QB. Period.

I am hopeful Nick will stop swapping the QB's until the game is in hand. #13 needs as much action as he can get to get ready for the real teams ahead. Hell #2 has had 28 games already and the other guy 2 1/2 (really less). Then again that is just me.

I got a feeling we won't see Jalen unitl the second half next week. He'll probably take a different approach with an SEC team, even if it's Ole Miss' high school defense.
