In today's preview, we tackle the mighty Crimson Tide of Alabama. Two years removed from a national championship, Alabama might appear at first glance to be ripe for an upset. The Crimson Tide are replacing a quarterback, star wide receiver, Heisman Trophy-winning running back, and a large portion of their offensive line. However, with solid recruiting and great coaching, this Crimson Tide team has enough talent waiting in the wings to be a national title contender again in 2011.

I won't even get into his prediction on the game and what his heart wants.

And, just as a little side note: The closer we get to the season the more I'm reminded of our game with Va. Tech. Then all the talk was how much Tyrod Taylor had improved with a year under his belt. Now, it's Rob Bolden.

Their OL lost 2-3, depending on what happens with the kid who got the DUI in the off season. most "Big Ten OL Assessments" I've seen have them the bottom of the group, say 8-10 of 12 teams. Believe they lost 3 from D and 5 from O last year. Most numbers put them at 7/7 or 8/8 - believe this has something to do with who is starting, how many QB's did they play last year...? <<-- which brings up another question...who will be starting and if it's the kid that wasn't allowed to transfer, what is his mental strength now. I haven't really looked into this - so my numbers might be off a bit, just quickly look around and found various numbers.

speaking of VaTech, I would prefer we go after another school for 2013..
