🏈 The Coaching Carousel : UT promotes Kelsey Pope to WR coach

Kentucky's offensive line was one of four finalists last season under Wolford for the Joe Moore Award, which goes to the top offensive line unit in the country. Kentucky running backs averaged 5.51 yards per carry during the regular season, which ranked fourth nationally.
That is huge for obvious reason. Alabama averaged 4.1 yards per car during the regular season. Obviously, we need to improve that. Saban got someone who can develop the OL line and execute better in Red Zone area. Huge opportunities. Pair him with a OC who likes to create opportunities on the field, the Offense will be very special, just need to get the right OC in.

If Wolford was working with BOB this past season, would the result been better or the same? I think the situation would've been the same.. It goes back to lack of development on OL.

In other news...

Auburn's offensive coordinator position has become quite the story these past few days. Their media guys reported newly hired OC, Austin Davis was going to be gone for two to four days to take care of some "family business." As of last night they were reporting Davis would be gone in two to four days.

I'd be tempted to bet on Kiesau getting the nod but who can guess what may happen down there.

I am HOPEFUL that there is some talent on this OL roster that Doug didn't enhance. Not knowing all the facts about why Nick had Joe Pendry come assist (other than Doug with CV19) makes me believe Doug wasn't a getting it done. Doug moving is his choice or Bama owes him one year's salary.
if they are encouraged to move on instead of being fired, Alabama doesn't owe them anything. That's how Saban operate. Nobody get "fired" They just get told to seek opportunites, and sometime he'll help them.

WE do have talent on the OL roster. Marrone didn't do great job of coaching the scheme, and developing players.

Pendry came into assist? Came in from where?
