Over the last few days there's been a ton of conversations about how fans should feel about Pearl and their trip to the final four. I've seen local media jump to Auburn's defense, national media blow off all the stories, and some fans try to encourage their peers to root for the Tigers.
It's the media's role here that really catches my attention. We're all told we need to get on the train, but where were they on this train a matter of days ago?
If you didn't know, the voting for the AP Coach of the Year is done before the NCAA tournament. (Whether the timing is off here is a case for another conversation.) When they tallied the votes for this season here's the top guys.
(Notice who you don't see here: the one we're suggested to be following closely because it's a conference thing, or an in-state thing, or some other malarkey.)
