Eastern Washington 4-5

Nevada 5-4

SMU 1-9

Massachusetts 1-AA

Kansas State 4-6

Taxass A&M 4-6

Baylor - Not yet played - 3-7

So, you know, they are right where they need to be at #2, no reason for them to jump us at all.

Not counting Baylor, since they haven't played yet, Texas has played 4 teams with a losing season and one double A team.

To their credit, they have played Texas and Oklahoma State.

To Alabama's credit, we have played LSU and Georgia. We tried to do the right thing by taking on Clemson and broke them down mentally and physically and they have sucked hard ever since. I wish they had won more games after 'Bama played them, but it just didn't work out.

All in all, I would believe that TT's and 'Bama's schedule are just about even. Keep in mind that 'Bama has played no 1-AA team from the Colonial Athletic Association as Texas Tech has. In fact, 'Bama has played no 1-AA teams.

Considering we have fought our way up from unranked in some polls and 24th in others, all the way to #1, there is no logical way it could have been taken from us this week.

Texas Tech was ranked preseason 12th and 14th in various polls and have not had to fight like we have. They had a lot more given to them.

The BCS definitely got it right.

Personally, I don't care if we are ranked #2, as long as we are one of the top two ranked teams. All I care about is Alabama getting an opportunity to play for the NC.

So being at #2 is as good as being at #1 come the end of the regular season. As long as Bama is ranked higher than #3, I ain't worried about it.

Same here, bear facts. I do enjoy supporting a team that happens to be #1, but #2, at this point, would be the absolute same in terms of how the overall season turns out.

I remember some poster last night asking why Alabama should be #1 though, kind of in a way as to suggest maybe TT deserved it and we didn't.
