🏈 Tennessee is hiring UCF’s Josh Heupel as its next head football coach,

Clemson countered the UT interest with a raise for Elliot.

"I'd rather remain as an offensive coordinator than take the head job at UT?" Doesn't sound right, does it?

I'm thinking TE is eyeing the end of the '21 season and the rumored opening happening next season.

ashamedly i did......so, dont judge me!!!....lol
Its about 1/3 positive....2/3 negative....a few wait n see'ers.......

a bunch really wanted Malzahn or Hermann.... most wanted Freeze ( so somebody will hire Freeze now...after next season...and he wont end up a vol......which may have been the hire to rescue them...)

wont go there again...promise...
You are forgiven this time because it gives us something we can use to laugh at the Viles :).

I understand, thanks. What position is being rumored to come open next year?
Just in the SECW alone, LSU and the possibility of Ole Miss. Lane is back to his Freshwater days; full borne. Napier's camp firmly believes he has a shot at Orgeron position for '22.

If I were Elliot I'd be on the phone right now to UCF. What's going to be interesting to see is if they end up with a "bigger name" for their program than both UT and AU have.

On SEC Now Chizik mentioned whether or not Heupel would choose to go the Randy Shannon route for defense. That makes me wonder about Steele. Do they release him?

If so, that's likely Steele getting the full contract amount: a million for a month's work.

Just add it to the millions they paid in buyouts for Heupel and White. Their saving money from their buyout for Pruitt.

I simply used BAMA as an example. What about Oklahoma then? They lost 2 of their first 3 games and everyone left them for dead. They could've used the excuse of "muh covid pandemic" and cashed it in, but that bunch regrouped and finished 9-2 and 6th nationally.

i did say a bunch.... a bunch is a bunch... but some did..and smaller less stacked programs ....well... a few ...can be a bunch...

sames as for injuries... and many lament Bamas injuries last year to not making playoffs....
