This might be a game changer for you. It will come with ESPN+ (as well as SECN+ which you already had with YTTV.)
That opens up A LOT of options for watching Bama's winter and spring sports. As example, out of the 54 Bama baseball games last season you would have been able to watch 49. (Three were streamed on D1Baseball.com, one wasn't televised or streamed.)
The additional three months is what you're spending now on YTTV, right?
(Yeah, I've spent a little time looking at this. )
I can't remember where I read this but I'm sure I'm right on a few things here.
I saw where this can also be bundled with FoxOne. Now we're at $20 a month. That covers Fox, FS1 and 2, and the B1G Network. There's a handful of their other channels like local Fox, national Fox (entertainment,) Deportes, Weather, Business. I'm not going that far this fall for their sports.
We still don't know how CBS is going to fit in here with afternoon games. I'm assuming they'll still stream the games on their site; I've never looked at their app to see if they did there as well.
Regarding the ESPN Unlimited, anyone signed up yet? I’m considering it. What’s stopping me from pulling the trigger is being able to watch a game from the beginning after it starts or hours later. Last year I started with Sling Orange +Blue then moved over to YouTubeTV. My issue with Sling was not being able to tune into the ESPN3 games until they actually started. YTTV was great but after the season ended I really wasn’t watching it. Both are too expensive for just a few channels.
I was going to wait another month before dropping YouTube tv for the Fox bundle, and then the Fox YouTube dispute hit the news. I have heard really good things on other boards.
