I think that he has matured a lot as a QB this year, as a 5th year senior in his third year as a starter should. As a soph he tended to hold onto the ball too long, getting sacked when he could have unloaded the ball to an empty spot on the field. This was much less of a problem last year, and has not been an issue this season, so far. As a junior he had a tendency at times to throw into coverage. I don't know if he just wasn't reading the coverage or thought he could beat it. Again, this year, with the exception of the int versus WKU this has not been an issue. While JPW's passing stats may not be glamorous so far, he has avoided drive killing sacks and turnovers, and kept us in manageable down and distance situations. He hasn't had a great game throwing the ball yet this season, but I am confident that he will. Perhaps Saturday will be the day.

Nice synopsis, psychojoe. As you say, maybe this Saturday everything and everyone will click and it will be another '05 Florida type show. We, as a fanbase, have received everything we have hoped for this year up to this point.

The team has had ample opportunity to play some of the freshmen and let them gain experience. The whole offense has had time to better learn to apply McElwain's strategies. They have learned how to score and how to do it consistently.

They have had four whole games to come together and get stronger and have seemed to do so as well as anyone could have expected. They really seem to be a team at this point, a group of men working together.

This Saturday will be the test, not only for Wilson, but for all of them. All of them need to step up, all of them need to get it right this time.

Most of all, let's support the whole team and all the players on the team and become the powerful fan base that 'Bama fans once were.

Well, we can all hope. Of course if that happened then rest assured CNS would not leave starters on the field, as we've seen thus far. F#@* Shula and his daddy.

Crippling hit after crippling hit he would get up and go right back to the slaughter mill and wait for the next Mack truck to bury him. Every once in a while he would throw an interception or fumble, it was almost as if he were a human being.

If he could read blitzs this would not happen so often. Having said that, I like him. I think he is a tough competitor. I think McElwain has him going in the right direction. Only time will tell.

ROFL!!!!!!! Well, said Tsunami well said indeed!

ETHUG!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In this thread Bhma news worthy?

If so color or black and white? TIA

Right now it would be in black and white. But with just a few more quips back and forth it would definitely require color.

John Parker is about 2 long T.D. passes against UGA from being a folk hero and everyone's new best friend . I think he's due for a good game and will be a difference maker.I have not seen many anti J.P.W. posts on this board .By the way , it's not necessary to quote and re-quote every other post . I had to go back to the first page of this thread to find out who OP was ! r.d.t.
