šŸˆ Super Bowl LV- KC vs Tampa. Who you got?

Before the game started, the talking heads made a deal about Brady's age like he was a senior citizen (he's one year older than she is) and started his career when Mahomes was six. She's mad. I guess we're pulling for Tampa Bay.

(Once again [and again and again and again...], the Steelers are at home, and therefore, I don't care about this game. Go commercials!)
I'm with you the Packers not in so who care!! I'm waiting on the New The Equalizer. I may not be correct in saying this , BUT I LIKE Queen LATIFAH. TV show and movie.

I should have let my seven year old have a blank check for the NFL Playoffs and CFP this year. His little ass hit 8 out of 10 (Division, Conference, and Super Bowl, as well as all three CFP). He missed the Bills/Chiefs and the Alabama/Notre Dame games.

Glad Brady won. Always hated the Patriots, but respect the heck out of that guy. He's just a winner. Hate it as a Falcons fan, but losing any desire to give a shit about any franchise in professional sports.

What irked me was the way the sports media wanted to crown Mahomes the Michael Jordan of football. Even before kickoff they said we have likely the 2 best QBs to ever play the game. What?! The guy won 1 super bowl and he’s Micheal Jordan? Give me a break. Did I miss him winning 5 more somewhere in his previous life? He sure didn’t play like Jordan tonight. I think some sports media were a little premature on the anointing.

"It's the little things that can make a football game." How many times have we heard similar statements?

Last night it was a "little thing" that made the football game worth the watch. It was almost a laugh out loud moment hearing Brady audible "38 Alabama" and it was a running play for Fournette. To have been a fly on the wall and see LF's reaction when they decided that one; "let's call it Alabama."

I'm picking any marathon tv series as the winner. Plus I will not be watching someone, I understand it's a duet this year, butcher our great national Anthem. Not to mention having to listening to commentators tell us how unfair society is as we watch guys playing a game where they earn more in 15 minutes than most of us earn in a year. So those that will be watching the game....ENJOY
There's two different mindsets here within the same post, ya know?

So those that will be watching the game.

That can be mutually exclusive to everything else, yes? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

In spite of seeing the "flaws" that I find in the NFL product the football game last night was one we don't see very often. Romo wore it out last night, but he was spot on: Tampa's game plan was simple football. A good defensive plan complimented by a conservative, basic offensive approach.

Was it the last football game of this season worth watching? I hope we see some pretty good games with the smaller schools playing spring ball.

No one is talking about the halftime show? What with the men wearing underwear on they heads?

I've probably only watched 2 or 3 halftime shows in the last 15-20 Super Bowls... most of the musicians I'd care to watch are folks that would never get picked, or dead (which also won't be picked).

When The Who was the halftime show. That year it too, was on CBS. But the CIS series show all had the Who as the theme song. So guess which songs were sung that night.

There definitely were prop bets on streaking during the game.
Sure, at a few books. But definitely not for 50K. At the most you'll find prop bets limited to a hundred or so; $200 is the most I've seen allowed to be wagered.

A streaking prop? I understand Bovada had theirs capped at a $25 max wager.

Here's the most important thing to consider. Do you really think a book is going to put out a prop bet, allow someone to put 50K on the line, and then that same person go out and fulfill the "yes?" Uh, that's a big NO.

Sure they would. The streaker would end up with Jimmy Hoffa
