I have been looking around and cant find the schedule of events at the game before or after. Iv been to a few games in Atlanta and they do like a fan zone and such. Anyone know whats going on in or around the game? Anyone goin?

Jerry's world one of the worst possible places for a big time CF atmosphere.

Too hot to tailgate, not much by the stadium, and stadium doesn't get very loud cause it's too damn big.

If you want to party go to the Fort Worth Stockyards... Good country atmosphere.

If you want to really party, I suggest "Bucks" or the new "V Live". RTR

@utstnx what are you looking to do? I'll be there, don't have tickets yet. I'm still looking for 3 tickets at the price I'm willing to pay :) There are plenty of people tailgating around the stadium. The weather and concrete can make it hotter than it should be. The weather has been pretty mild the last week or so, hoping it sticks around for another 2 weeks.

Some great BBQ in the greater DFW area (Hutchin's in Frisco & McKinney, Lockhart Smokehouse in Dallas & Plano, and Pecan Lodge in Dallas). There are tons of pretenders around the metroplex, some will have long lines - Pecan Lodge consistently rated one of the best in the state you could wait 30-60 mins depending on when you show up. Hutchin's has an all you can eat option for $20 (best value and their food is really good). If you go to a BBQ joint that I mentioned above, you won't need any bbq sauce.

Stockyards in Ft Worth, Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor in Arlington (near stadium), Dealey Plaza in Dallas,

As @OldPlayer pointed out, Tide In Texas has an event at Gilley's Friday night (Tide In Texas Events).

If you're wanting to get out and explore, there are some really cool towns around the area, but you're gonna have to drive to get there. Denton and McKinney both have really neat little downtown squares, Granbury also has a really nice square but it's a little further out.

Cowboys just opened their headquarters in Frisco, worth a visit if you're a Cowboys fan.

i recommend finding where the USC song girls will be and go there

not sure what we want to do. My buddy lives in round rock so we will be driving in for the game and back out to his place after. Just looking for game day activities and so forth. seems like game day sets up like 3-5 miles away from the stadium??? I remember when i went to Bama/Michigan game there was nothing to do around the stadium. concrete and walmart was about it.

Game Day is in Green Bay on that weekend (LSU vs. Wisconsin). Take your time coming in from Round Rock and grab an early, extended dinner.

Got my tix, face was 100, paid 150 each. Also got tix for Astros at Rangers for the Friday night before. Other than the two games, will be lazy while there except to go to Pecan Lodge one day and Kuby's another day.
