Y didn't JPW just throw it away so we could have a play on 4th down. He just held it and was tackled in bounds.

anyone who thinks you can move like that is smoking crack.

I thought if everybody shifted (which they did), then it was legal.

Am i allowed to put the stripes on for this question????

If the offense makes a quick abrupt move that involves more then 2 players to make a new formation, that is considered and SIMULATING THE SNAP. Which is a DEAD BALL FALES START!

Makes sense, I stand corrected.

Buckle your chinstraps fellas, it's gonna be a hell of a second half.

And just to clarify your qualifications, aren't you a D1 referee out west?

I'm glad Bama scored a TD before halftime, but they really needed at least one more score. There's still a lot of time left to play, but Bama will only get so many opportunities.

On that one, it doesn't matter the level of play.

Not a D-1 official yet. D-2 and 3.
Hopefully a couple more years and then D-1.

This game goes to show why I hate predictions. 90% of the country thought we'd win. There is still time, but there are so many obstacles it's not even funny.

Down by 11 I guess we should consider that fortunate. Let's just hope the seniors get in there and have a come to Jesus meeting with everyone.

Looks like Utah got well prepared. We are out Coached right now.

Wrong. Outplayed? Yes. Outcoached? No way.

Wrong! Outcoached they had a great game play so far see if we can adjust. So far not good I thought we had an O line and D line?

The coaches are not the ones not looking back for the ball or missing tackles. We are doing both.

You must not be watching the same game Big Fan or you're blinded by your prediction of us stomping Utah. There game plan has been flawless, there play calling better, and they got 21 points on one the top rated defense. So if that’s not DAMN fine coaching I don’t know what is. If the shoe were on the other foot all we’d hear is a relentless bewailing of how good our coaching staff is.

And you're right in the fact our players left the balls on the bus. This is by far the most embrassing half I've ever seen.

I pray Utah doesnt come out in that hurry up offense.

I'm sure they will, heck it seems to be working well for them! :x

Man, was that the worst 1st quarter I've seen us play all season??? I was just sitting there with my jaw on the ground.

This reminds me of the 2005 season. Bama was 9-0 and ranked in the top five. Then they lost a heartbreaker to LSU in overtime. The next week there was a hangover effect. The Tide came out flat,Auburn went up 21-0 in the first quarter, and Brodie got sacked eleven times.

Deja vu.

Aww man, you had to bring up that bad memory. :(

I hope Nick makes some major adjustments second half is all I can say. If not, we're in trouble.

I may be the only one here but I am feeling pretty confident right now. We started to slow them down and started getting a little bit of pressure on the QB. Ingram is running his ass off and they aren't getting to JPW as much.

Here is looking to a grinding 2nd half and if we can stop them on the first drive and kill this momentum then I think we will be just fine as we hopefully start to grind them down. Maybe I am just being optimistic which isnt my nature but something is feeling right. RTR
