Sugar Bowl Review: Loss Mirrored Tideās Season

I find myself thinking about two phrases. One, Iām not a fan of using, the other ancient but none-the-less very true.
We often see people use the phrase ātheyāve grown by leaps and boundsā when describing the improvements in ones performance. Weāve seen that phrase used on more than one occasion when describing the 2008 Crimson Tide team.
Another phrase, this one largely attributed to its Biblical origins, talks about growth in terms of āmoving from plateau to plateau.ā I couldnāt think of a more apt description of what weāve just witnessed with this football season.
