I'm shocked we had a shot at him with Sayin in. I assumed he would back off, but he stayed in interest.

I'm from Nashville, he's been Bama lean up until the last month or so and UT got close. I thought Bama still had a good chance he's planning on committing soon but hasn't set the date. Now he's a full UT lean.

Thank you, Coach Saban. But F the portal, F the NIL, and to heck with bad snaps from Center. 2024 thus far is turning out to be a really crappy year. College football traditionally no longer exists. Is this new deal better? Time will tell, but I'm highly skeptical.

Today playing college football to these kids (95% of them) is all about me, me, me. How much NIL money, how I can use the transfer portal for having hurt feelings, how I can have large crowds at my high school making my college decision, and it goes on and on and on.

You are correct. All signs point to Auburn, but a Lanning hire with our quarterback room would have to peak some curiosity. They can have Coleman, Thompson, and Williams out there, but you still gotta have a line that can block and a quarterback that can get it to them.
