Let's just say that if anyone chooses to resurrect the old 'Watts v. Zow' argument with 'McElroy v. Jackson' they have a non-football agenda.

Your point about the varying ability of the 1s vs the 2s lineman plays a BIG part to all this... the issue is how big? The line play can make any QB look good or bad, it is just that simple.

Also, Jackson has been at UA for 8 months, I wonder if McElroy faired much different his first A-Day. I also thought McElroy did fairly good, his precision and pocket presence was pretty good, no really good, so as he blossomed out there it made the other QB's look like they were whithering.

Finally, it was astonishingly CLEAR --> The Spring Game was designed to showcase or expose the ability of our passing game & the pass rush. IF we have anything close to the rushing game we just had it will help out any QB as he manages the TEAM... This is the quiet issue that will stand out when 'Bama opens against VT.
