Shocking how wrong you are here. There are literally dozens of stats that prove this is horrendously wrong.

It's not a defense we're used to seeing. It's not what we've come to expect from a Tide defense. However, the hyperbole is simply out of control with opinions on defense.

Oh yeah, man. Dozens. Which stats? The two dozen missed tackles last week?

Third down defense? 50th
Red-zone defense? 78th
Pass defense? 36th
Rush defense? 34th
Total defense? 30th

This is a BAD defense in any way you look at it.

EDIT Granted, yes I am probably speaking out of emotion and being hyperbolic here, but it comes from frustration of seeing how bad this defense can be despite how good the offense is. Next year even if the defense is immensely improved, the offense won't be 1/5th of what it is this season. We may never see this amount of sheer offensive talent on one team every again.
