🏈 Spurrier sounds like a beaten man.

Living in South Carolina, I can tell you the opinion of those who follow the program closely.

This is the same thing Spurrier has said every year. By now, there should be results.

I agree, but as cocky as the Ole' Ball Coach is, if he had something in the cupboard, I think he'd be talking about it. Doesn't sound good for USCe.

Earlier this fall, I had a USCe fan really bragging about how well Garcia was doing in their drills. When I asked one of the beat writers, who had observed the drills, he told me they were running them at half speed.

No wonder, right?

I don't see the Gamecocks improving over last years record. A game, at the most, and I'm doubtful of that.

He seems tired and accepting of his lot in life at this point. Unlike the Spurrier of the past. Right now he doesn't look like a guy that would even think about throwing a visor.

We've talked about this and agree about their likely record. 7-5 is about the best they can expect with their schedule. If things turn a little against them performance wise it could easily slip to 4-8. Not much margin for error for visor man.
