Any of you think that Coach Saban will do any of the kickoff fair catch stuff?

He may surprise me, but I don't think so. Looking over the past several years as an indicator, Saban has always allowed his players to make plays. While we have had decent returners, none have been as good as Javier Arenas. He seemed to have an amazing feel for when to fair catch vs when to catch it and run. I think Saban wants his players to make smart plays. If you have a playmaker that catches it at the 10 yd line and can run it 20 yards, he would rather start at his own 30 vs 25. (obvious, I know) but I think Saban believes in his players and will want them to make a play, if they think they can make a play.

Tua Tagovailoa shares photo of injured hand
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s injury may be worse than originally thought. On Saturday, he did not participate in a scrimmage because coach Nick Saban said his injury had become worse. Saban said he wanted to protect Tagovailoa to make sure he would be ready to go in the fall. Tagovailoa recently shared a photo of his injured hand, which was in a cast. It appears as if he underwent a procedure, but the details are unclear.

^^The prognosis as I understand it is they hope he'll be ready when 7 on 7's start this summer. It may be a little longer and precaution is also a strong possibility.

I know they were counting on me to be there but alas, I will not be. I have not been to an A-Day since the 2009 edition. I went to see what this McElroy character was going to look like on the field. Season tickets make for enough trips from the NE corner of the state, each season. Hell, now I only make it down for two or three games and sell the rest. Gas and time are expensive, yo.

Agreed. But if Bama starts scheduling some better opponents for home games you might make a couple more.....huh? If not you can always hit me up :-)
