Nobody can take what CNS out of context more than Melick. He must be a Barner to totally ignore what Saban was responding to when he said that....what an idiot. Yeah, I would tell it to his face. I do not dance around the bushes taking jabs. I usually jump right in. How anyone could consider this person a journalist amazes me. His article oozes with hated for Saban. Maybe he should write gossip/bs columns, because that is all this article amounts to.

wow, what an idiot. the guy goes out of his way to criticize Saban and his desire for an early signing period. then he admits that 9 out of the 12 SEC head coaches favor the same thing. :roll:

i guess this is to be expected though when you think about it. the media needs the UA/AU rivalry. meanwhile, the writing on the wall indicates nothing but an abrupt halt to AU's recent success. they are trying to find anything that might in some way neutralize Saban's momentum.

I read it in the paper just before I got on here. I think I read the first 2 or 3 paragraphs and it just pissed me off so much, I didn't want to read the rest. That stuff ain't worth reading in the first place. If the media's gonna do everything they can to make Bama and our coach look bad, then they don't deserve my time to read their stupid articles.

I tried to be objective, no really. I couldn't find a point in his rant. Did I miss one? Other than cheap shots and a poor attempt to get to 4 by adding 1+1-1, I didn't see a point? I couldn't almost stand the bias if they could just come up with a legitimate point.
