Our pass protection was pretty decent. McElroy had a lot of time to throw the ball. Our run blocking needs some work, but our pass blocking was decent.
Yep, CNS wan't too happy with our offensive down and distance results for the run. His goal is for the offense to gain at least 4 yards per carry, and Bama didn't accomplish this yesterday as much as he would have liked.
Promising thing is that this Bama team appears to be more diverse offensively than last season's, so it is able to take advantage of whatever the opposing defense is willing to sacrifice. As the season progresses, hopefully this OL will continue to improve where it can manufacture rushing results like last season's team, especially on first down.
