If you open the tweet, you see what looks like a ball cap. Now that's a great starter fuel...for a statue.

Supposedly, whatever dumbass did this was immediately arrested. Updyke-wannabe is probably already scheming.

My first thought was ball cap too. Some drunk burned a hat near the statue and that turned into trying to burn the statue down.

Another tweet from WVUA23 ( Khadijah Torbert actually) WALK OF CHAMPIONS INCIDENT: "UAPD responded quickly when one male suspect lit a small fire near the statue of Coach Bryant on the Walk of Champions earlier this evening.
