Terrance Cody once appeared on Wheel of Fortune, the show began by him spinning the wheel, the next 59 minutes consisted of awkward silence as the wheel continued to spin...

That is hilarious! :D

I found the one about the missing kids amusing. They can say what they want, it's going to be a war in the trenches. Chapman coming in to give Mt. Crushmore a breather isn't going to be a picnic for Luigs. He's gonna have 665+ pounds frailing that head all afternoon. He better go stock up on his Advil.

Arkie fans have no clue what is coming.

Luigs may be good...he may be great...but he is going to get killed. It is not going to be pretty at all if they try to man up. Cody is going to make him look like a high school second string center. They can deny all they want...but all the technique in the world cannot overcome the difference in size and strength. He will not single block TC. Nobody in the NCAA will. Cody is an NFL DT RIGHT NOW.

I sure hope you're right. My optimism totally agrees with you. But, my gametime superstition says don't talk crap, throw salt over my shoulder, knock on wood, and hope like he77!!!

Mt. Cody has played a total of 3 games, none of them in the SEC. Granted, he's a big fella, strong, and from what I hear agile. Luigs is the best center in the nation, so I think it's a bit premature to say he's gonna get "killed." Luigs obviously isn't gonna push Cody around, but he's gonna "kill" him with footwork and technique. I'm sure there will be plays where Luigs is called upon to handle Cody one-on-one and I think he'll be more than able to handle is own. Neither player is gonna dominate the other though.

I don't think so. Have you actually seen the guy play? Other teams are double and triple teaming him and they still can't stop him. The guy is unlike any other nose tackle out there - unlike any I've ever seen.

Luigs can dance around all he wants. Technique is not going to be an adequate counter for a difference in mass of 50 lbs. combined with Cody's speed and agility.

Drop back in Saturday afternoon and lets talk about whether or not Luigs footwork and technique "kill"ed Cody.

Oh, BTW - Welcome to the Board!

I saw a clip of him dominating Western Kentucky. Impressive if your in to beating up on the little guys. All three of those guys couldn't even lift the Rimington.

Thanks, hope I can stick around awhile :D

Tuck welcome aboard but I don't think "footwork" will win it for Luigs. I know he is an All-American and the Rimington winner but that is for having been the best at his position for that year. I believe that Caldwell would've given him a run for those awards if the textbook issue hadn't sidelined him for 4 games. You get that kind of weight pushing against you all day long and then get another big body and then back to Cody again, Luigs will be the one that is worn down. One on one, he might cut Cody once or twice to get the upper hand on him but Cody will have done his job by creating a pile and making the back move east and west.

3 defenders = One SEC All-American. Don't put so much faith in your Center, it will be your downfall.

I've been hearing so much of this match up...it's starting to make me sick. There are bigger things to look at, like our offense against your defense.

Hey our defense finally has some starters back, so maybe they can actually....play defense? We'll see tomorrow, I'm excited about this game.

I hear ya man, but you guys are acting like Luigs hasn't played against big guys before. He went up against Glen Dorsey for the past couple years! Nearly every SEC game, you're playing against someone who can bring. Your guy just happened to have eaten more Whoppers than the previous guys. Luigs will do just fine. If he doesn't, I'll come back and eat my crow with a side of baked beans.
