Yep, Lance, I used to work with an obnoxious Longhorn fan back in the mid-80s. He was always walking around talking about how Alabama had never beaten Texas in football and how he was also an ABBA fan, that he pulled for "any body but Alabama."

Well, one day he started in on the Tide, and I just listened to him run his mouth for awhile, until I responded very nonchalantly, "I finally figured out why Texas fans alsways do this (*giving him the Hook'em Horns sign*)."

You have? he asked out of curiosity and surprise.

"Sure," I replied, "it's because they never get to do this. Then I flashed him the No. 1 sign. The whole break trailer erupted with laughter and the Texas fan never opened his mouth about Bama again, at least not in front of me.

Surprisingly, the Barners I work with have been relatively quiet. I did have one lady's son give me the hook em horns sign. I reminded him of his wearing a gator hat last week and what did that get him? I told him that he must be a glutton for punishment.

Man, you guys are inspiring. Fortunately, about everyone I work with is a Bama fan or agnostic.

I suspect their may be some closeted Auburn fans mixed in, who are comfortable with their "orientation".
