It is still the most prestigious individual award (even if I scoff at many of the winners in recent years) in CFB. If Ingram wins it, it would bring a tremendous amount of good publicity to The University, but also, and more importantly IMO, highlight Mark even more on the national level. He is a super representative of our (my) University and he deserves all the success in the world. He has earned it, and I hope he gets it. If an Alabama fan is sitting around hoping he doesn't win it because of some selfish reason (i.e. "Heisman winners don't win bowl games", the tired worn out... "Bama don't do Heisman's BAMA does Championships", etc..,), they need to pull their head out of their ass.
