Sorry to start up another thread, but I just have a simple question: Does Auburn guard/patrol Toomer's Corner?

I don't know much about the Auburn campus or where the trees are located...I'm assuming a well-lit centralized location near or on the campus. I would think that the place is under pretty continuous surveillance -- especially following the attempted burning sometime back.

Anyways...just hated to hear about it for the sake of their tradition and the trees and was wondering about it.

Yup. And i would imagine this is how the guy got caught.
I dunno if they archive the footage. But i bet they will now for sure.

It's not patroled but it is in a very high profile section of the campus. It's also about 1.4 mile down Magnolia from the police station.
