Elisha Shaw, four-star defensive tackle from Tucker High School in Atlanta, Ga., visited Alabama on Saturday. The visit to Tuscaloosa was the first of the season for the Peach State product.
"The visit to Alabama was great," said Shaw. "I loved it. I missed it down there. I thought the game was great. It was perfect."
"What really stood out was how the fans interacted with me and the love Bama showed to me. I liked how Alabama's tempo is before the game. I liked how focused they were. I also liked how the fans and student body were tremendous."
"The coaches were telling me they miss me. They want me to get healthy. I mostly talked to all of them. They were asking me about my injury and if I am feeling better about it."
"Alabama leads for me. I don't plan on doing anything until the Army game though. Georgia is right behind them. I do plan on going back to Alabama for the LSU game. I haven't set up my official visit yet."
A neck injury has sidelined Shaw for his senior season. He isn't sure when he will be able to return.
"I don't know,' said Shaw. "It's all in God's plans.
