🏈 GAME THREAD SEC/NCAA Top 25 Games of the Week (TV schedules and discussions.)

It was hard to believe the quit in the orange team last night. The lack of composure by Pruitt was revealing somewhat. He was dialling up all kinds of poor percentage offensive plays early in the game and it had the feeling that panic had set it. The unsportsmanlike penalty he got on the sidelines was ironic, given he was complaining about his team keeping their composer and focus. That was a bad first look at Pruitt's upcoming SEC struggles.

It's safe to say the culture change Pruitt is after hasn't sunk in with all the players. I don't find Sapp being at the front of this story completely surprising. In spring camp he answered a few interview questions by mentioning things like "for the most part" when talking about how much the Vols had bought in to what Pruitt is preaching.

Almost upset Saturday but remarkably Wisconsin, Stanford, Oklahoma, were able to pull their chestnuts out of the fire. But that VaTech loss to Old Dominion was epic stuff.

Georgia was leaking some oil vs Mizzou and Kentucky was anything but Kentucky. Hats off to the Mildcats.

The mid teens had a terrible day

#13 losing to a team with no wins this year and none ever over a P5 before yesterday.,

#14 getting curb stomped (although Kentucky is probably just under ranked and State over ranked anyway)

#15 getting curb stomped (Texas Tech and Okie State probably were much like the one above)

#17 completely dominated in the second half for the loss.

Well we will get to see the UT and UGA next weekend! Something is telling me now that our 3rd Saturday in October isn't going to be on CBS this year. maybe the Mizz game will be and the LSWHOO and the Braner game!

So the deal this week is that CBS has chosen Tennessee vs Georgia with the Dawgs a 32.5 point favorite. Let me repeat a 32.5 point favorite and it probably won't be that close. They are out of their SEC pickin' mind.

So much for Florida and Miss State, a much closer and provocative TV game with Mullen returning home. Oh well.
