🏈 Scott Frost has been fired as head coach of Nebraska.

Gonna be interesting. I think Nebraska has an over-inflated idea about itself. Why would Stoops leave Kentucky or Aranda leave Baylor for the dumpster fire that awaits? O'Brien makes sense because he could get back to head coaching and would probably do better than Frost there for sure. Leeipold might want the challenge.

Just wondering, if all the stuff being said about Frost being late for practice, too drunk to visit a recruit and complaints from the assistants to the AD were true, why was he not fired “ with cause” so they wouldn’t have to pay the buyout. Just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, could have saved 15 million.

That was the narrative about Bama between Stallings and Saban. I do not blame Nebraska for having a high standard. As a program they have been there. Just not for the last 20+ years.
There is no recruiting base for Nebraska. They're done regardless to who they pay 7 million a year to take the gig. 85% of the rosters these days are Black and they're no headed to Lincoln, Nebraska. It's over for them.
