🏈 Scoring concerns?

I'd like to get the red zone touchdown passes up a lot, simply because we need an intermediate passing game, can't be all bombs and swing passes, atleast I would not like to only be those things. Looks like we need to get OJ in there more. But hey, hard to argue with a 100% pass rate in the red zone when things count.

All I want going forward is certainly not necessarily anymore PPG but a plan of attack that consistently targets a certain 6'6" mismatch that runs downfield like the wind. No LB can chase him, no safety can out-reach him. Pretty sure that TD to Mack Wilson had OJ Howard's name all over it. Let's keep getting the ball to 88 until their tongues hang out. That is all.

you and me, both.

i like the designed runs for Jalen in the red zone. We could easily set up bootleg passes to the endzone by doing a little more of that going into the SEC schedule.

And NOONE is talking about the pass to Mack Wilson... if you dont think thats opened some eyes of DC's around the SEC you're nuts. Terrence Cody, A'Shawn Robinson, Jesse Williams all played in that jumbo package but none of them ever got a chance to touch the ball. I do recall us doing a throw back to one of the offensive linemen against Auburn one year or something though.

Thought Hurts made a great back shoulder throw to Cam Sims at the one-yard line, from about 30 yards out, against KS. There is an effortlessness to Hurts' generalship and motion that is getting a lot of his production overlooked. But I saw a giddiness from Saban after the game that was remarkable, given his mood two weeks earlier. I think it says we have a super young QB who is growing leaps and bounds as we speak.

Agreed.

You're right, great play.

I think the the lineman eligible play was against LSWho a couple years ago..
