Man, I HATE playing those Cajuns at night in Baton Rouge....all of that voodoo magic gives me the creeps.

Last year, or maybe the year before, all this talk about the winning percentage LSU has in Death Valley at night piqued my interest so I started looking at that record in more detail.

When you add "playing a ranked team" at night, in Death Valley, that winning percentage isn't so impressive. They have rarely played a ranked team at night in DV.

Don't get me wrong. The atomosphere at night is much more difficult than it is at any other time. But, when you break it down to who they are playing at night ... color me as one that doesn't find it that intimidating. (But hell, I'm not putting on the pads tonight!!!)

48 - 24 Good guys win this one coming back strong and often after an early deficit, one broken coverage and lucky pass by Etling and a short TD run by Fournette after the Tide's only turnover. Harris has runs of 34 and 48 in leading Alabama's rush attack while Hurts throws for 272 with two TDs and runs for one on a ten yard bootleg where the cornerback can't corral him and simply shakes his head in disbelief jogging behind and watching the score. Hey, if you're going to pick, pick, right?

By the way, I don't think the LSU fans know their players very well, especially with the shuffling of the quarterback. I asked one Cajun friend of mine this week, "So, do you like Etling?" He replied, "I dunno, I never etled."

not a prediction, 'cause i just don't like to do them......

but i can tell you that my stomach is about in knots for this game.....my nerves are about shot.....i got the bubble guts.....i'm just flat out nervous.

i don't know why, but this game always has me nervous as hell, no matter where it's played.

no matter the score, i just want to come away with a win.
